Defect: Faulty front passenger detection component means that front passenger seat air bag may inflate even if an infant or small child is seated in that position. Young children could be seriously injured by frontal air bags in a crash, and should be seated in the back seat. Repair: Dealers will replace the occupant detection system (ODS). Defect: Air bag may inflate even when the front-seat passenger is out of position
and too close to the dashboard. Can cause serious injuries. Repair involves

Defect: Fuel pump failure causes vehicle to stall in traffic. Repair involves

Defect: Taillights, backup lights, and license plate lights may fail when
truck lid damages wiring harness. Repair involves replacing damaged harnesses
and
installing tubing to protect undamaged harnesses from being damaged.
